Oleksandr Teliuk / Elias Parvulesco is an artist, film scholar, curator, and archivist. and currently a postgraduate researcher at Queen Mary University of London.As a filmmaker, he took part in several international film festivals, including goEast International Film Festival (2024), FIDMarseille, Festival International de Cinéma de Marseille (2022); The International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (2022); Glasgow Short Film Festival (2022);  Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival (2020);  Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival (2014, 2018); Odesa International Film Festival (2016); Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival (2018); 86 International Festival of Film and Urbanism (2016).As an artist, he participated in a number of collective exhibitions and art projects such as 'Landscapes of an Ongoing Past' (2024); 'Land(e)scapes. Recognizing Fragmentarity' (2024); 'Implantations' (2023); 'Heart of Earth' (2022—2023, 2024); To Watch the War — The Moving Image Amidst the Invasion of Ukraine' (2022); 'UNFOLDING LANDSCAPES' (2022); 'antiwarcoalition.art' (2022); 'Chain Reaction' (2022); 'Kyiv Biennial (2021); 'Un/archiving post/industry' (2021);  'Climate Emergency Movement' (2019); 'Armed and Dangerous' (2019); 'Creating Ruin' (2018); 'Gray Cube' (2018); 'Social realism. Pretend to be Different' (2018).In 2017, he was a co-founder of 'ruїns collective', in 2020, the group had a personal exhibition 'NHT' ( w/ Teta Tsybulnyk, 2020,  The Laboratory of Contemporary Art 'Mala Gallery of the Mystetskyi Arsenal'). Also, he was a nominee of the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2020, a nationwide prize in contemporary art to young Ukrainian artists.As a film archivist and film history scholar, he worked at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre in Kyiv, leading a number of publishing and exhibition projects. He also studied at the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at the George Eastman Museum, University of Rochester, NY, USA, as well as working as a research assistant on the FIAF's Film Atlas project.
